Had several meals from here and they've always been incredibly fresh and tasty. I'm a vegetarian of 35+ years and their choice is fantastic - wouldn't go anywhere else. The option of wet or dry chow mein or fried rice is a great extra touch. I can't fault anything at all
Used for the first time on the Saturday before Christmas. Booked the meal online for delivery and paid with my Google wallet. Meals were delivered absolutely spot on time by a lovely driver. Once unpacked and served up my wife claimed the schuzen duck was the best she's ever had. We will be back. THANKS
How dare you serve warned up chips and charge full price. The chips were absolutely disgusting clearly warm ups if I could give you 0 stars I would. Don’t get food from this gaff your an embarrassment to takeaway food. You should be shut down and investigated for this garbage you serve and call it freshly cooked food. ???????????????????????????? absolute clowns the lot of you.
Tried for the first time tonight, excellent food and lovely staff. Delivery was a little longer than expected but defo worth the wait. Large portions too so some leftovers for tomorrow!! Ha
The Chinese food here is top quality. I have made several large orders, and every meal has been excellent. The singapore vermicelli is highly recommended. For chinese food, we don't go anywhere else since the Golden Wok opened.

Food on arrival was cold. I don't live that far from the establishment so no excuses.
The chips weren't edible, cold and burnt that much you could hammer nails in with them and that's no exaggeration
Thought we’d give this takeaway a try and I’m glad we did. Fresh and well prepared food, quick service and friendly staff. The fried rice wasn’t the best, however, everything else was delicious.
Ordered for the first time last night for collection. We were told 15mins by the very easy to use online ordering system. We went and picked up within the 15 mins. No waiting in the shop for up to an hour like other chinese takeaways in Heswall.
Staff were amazing and my son said the lady working there was very nice.
Food was excellent, definitely a step up from the generic chinese takeaway. First time I've had actual crispy beef since living in london, spot on!
Portion sizes were massive! We even got given free salt and pepper chicken wings as a nice little surprise.
You'll pay maybe 50p-£1 more for some dishes, but it is 100% worth it.
I had a very bad customer service from our old regular chinese takeaway and we have been looking for a replacement for weeks. So glad we tried Golden Wok!
Definitely our new go to chinese takeaway.
