Phoned in an order, told it would take 15 mins but on arrival it wasn't ready, we then waited another 15 mins until it was ready.
Prices seem very expensive, almost cost £20 for just one meal, but when we got home the portions were huge, it could easily feed 3 people.
Food was very nice and enjoyable but nothing was amazing!
Great food. Especially recommend the sweet and sour chicken, seaweed and the shredded beef. Soups are awesome too. Wish they did a sharing starter!
Put in an order, all well. I was told 30 minutes delivery
1 hour 30 passed.. I phoned in and they said the driver was on his way.
2 hours later they call to say they don’t deliver outwith a 10 mile radius even though I’m 7 miles away.
Terrible service.
Boss lady extremely rude on phone and in person (Iam not meaning language barrier) she talks to staff in disgusting manner.

Four of us decided to try this takeaway as we were staying in the area. We had spring rolls and spare ribs then a main course each. All the food was excellent. The spring rolls were dry and crispy. Not soggy like a lot of takeaways. We were all impressed with our main courses. Apart from the fact the portions were generous they were superb. Would definately recommend.
Ordered simply because we were passing, but we are very pleased we did and will definitely order again next time we pass. The food was all hot, delicious with very generous portions. Eaten too quickly to take photos.
golden river food is great you always get great customer service from maria she's always polite and has a smile on her face and knows the menu well , same on delivery's always service with a smile from her ????
The customer service is very poor, entered shop was asked to wait without any greeting. There was no apology for being kept waiting. The price of the meal was more expensive than the advertised price on their menu. Did notice they were very polite to locals that phoned in their order. The food wasn't as good as my local takeaway. If you're visiting the area avoid this takeaway like the plague.
