Nice pub ! Lovely pub Paul and Rachael are really great. Good real ale and friendly atmosphere.
Popped in on Xmas eve to waste an hour or 2 so played pool to pass the time!
Can't really comment on much else but was a clean place and had Sky Sports in the background
I was there for a friend's 40th birthday. The atmosphere was great, nice local pub. The kitchen produced a wonderful spread - chunky chips, a personal favourite. A plethora of gins and mixers - another win for me! The staff were a real team, creating a comfortable vibe. Really helpful ????
Very busy at Sunday lunchtime. Had to park a way down the road. Waited 45 mins for our 'booked' table, served efficiently at the well stocked carvery. Staff were friendly if very busy keeping up. Wait did not bother us, food was of adequate standard. Price seemed a little high for Spalding area but as a treat it was acceptable.
Lovely friendly place to enjoy a quiet drink....landlady and landlord very pleasant. ..we've yet to eat here but we've heard excellent feedback regards to their Sunday lunch. ..well worth a visit if your in the area.
Carvery was ok, nothing amazing but good value. Service with a smile, or any kind of interaction from the bar man would have been nice! You work in a customer service environment, learn some customer service skills!
I only meet a couple people there as it was very quiet but seams very nice little pub defeat going there as they were very friendly and very nice atmosphere ????
Excellent food at reasonable price. Staff excellent and service with a smile. Good village pub. Not many like this about these days. Well worth a visit..
