Never dined in, but I have phone ordered a couple of times. Very fast service, great taste and massive portion. As someone who's very familiar with Chinese food, I'm now finding this place to be my fave Chinese take away shop. I'd recommend their pork spare ribs (peking sauce) and chow mein.
Wow I placed an order for me and the kids. We have now been sat waiting for nearly 2 hours. And all they keep saying is it will be another 20 mins. So definitely will not be using them again at all. Not even a mention that they are busy. Because I'd have gone else were for our food????????????????
First time ordering from The Golden House and it’s the best Chinese we have ever had. We spoke to a patient and helpful lady on the phone when we ordered. spent about £50 and didn’t regret it at all. cheap with huge portions;the chicken balls were big with just enough batter , and the sweet and sour chicken was also full of perfect bite size pieces etc.fast delivery who managed to find my house (no other delivery driver has ever before) and got plenty of free stuff. Cannot fault it; I WOULD RECOMMEND FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE HEART and from now on I come back every week as it’s so efficient. thank you Golden House :)
I’ve already eaten a lot of spring rolls with vegetables, but that’s the best thing they sell here. It is very tasty, not spicy, just as much as it should be, and the composition of the vegetables is also good. Very tasty !!! Delicious !!
Generous portions. Hot food upon delivery. Lovely pancake roll! BBQ ribs, tender and big. Only gripe was the sweet and sour chicken balls, the chicken was dry.
The most important thing to mention is they are consistent, the food isn't hit and miss, it is always great. The spring roll is massive and serves as a starter for two. The special chow mein is not greasy and is full of flavour. The speak fried rice is wonderful. The special curry also full of meat and prawns. We love it ????
Last week the Singapore Chow Mein was sublime. This week it was vile. No Chillies or prawns was just a thick chili like sauce I could do better myself. I won't be ordering again . I would give 0/10 if I had the chance
I ordered chips curry sauce sweet and sour chicken salt and pepper chicken for the first time and all the food was delicious it's the best Chinese I have had in a long time they have certainly won my custom.
