Ordered beef chow mein and chicken fried rice with curry sauce. Both meals really hot and tasty. Read the bad reviews but we really enjoyed our meal. Couldn't really comment on the atmosphere because it was take out but the lady who served me was very nice.
Terrible food!
4 of us, so 2 of us took the happy hour menu and the whilst the other 2 ordered la carte!
The spring rolls were kind of foul smelly. The samosa were ok. The sweet corn soup was ok tasty, nothing great.
The Thai curry was a joke truly.
The mains were terrible, even the only thing which we perhaps felt acceptable was the vegetarian chowmein.
I wouldn’t visit this restaurant ever again.
I don't recommend it the food was lousy out of all the restaurants I have been to it was the worst the food was not tasty at all and you got a burnt taste... awful awful awful my Baby's booster was dirty it was sticking (oils) and the table cloth too dirty compared to other Chinese restaurants I've been to, the prices were more expensive and the food very bad
Worst Chinese I've ever had, Chicken and Sweet corn soup far too salty, Chicken curry was watery with a kind of burnt vegetable taste, fried rice was horrible. Decent chips but that was it.
Visited last night a party of 9 have to say for the cost the food was very nice and decent potions the staff and service was also good
Had chicken noodle soup to start and was the most vilest soup I have ever tasted in my life. I would not recommend it and will never go back there again. My girlfriend had hot and sour soup , and that also was vile. This will be one Chinese restaurant that we will never be back to eat again
Excellent food and service as always. Nice authentic Chinese music playing in the background. We reckon this is the best Chinese restaurant in the country! The Salt & Pepper Chicken was amazing! The Early Bird set menu is very good value for money.
Had been out walking and exploring all day in the Lake District so we needed something to eat and a Chinese is always our go-to with me being a fussy eater. We were the first ones in at 5pm, we were seated straight away and by no later than 5:15 we already had our food brought out to us - it was amazing. We had the nicest service and the food quality was perfect. (We ordered 2 salt and pepper chips, sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice, salt and pepper chicken and 2 drinks which came to around £40) Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
