Hurrah for a real fish & chip shop. Lovely staff in a clean chippy serving the original fast food. Sign of a good fish & chip is when you walk ten minutes to your home & it is still hot & the batter & chips crispy. Cod is really good & the portions just right. Comfort food, #Marvellous
I have been buying Haddock and chips most weeks over the last 6 months. The quality generally has been very good. Unfortunately yesterday the quality was very poor. The haddock was barely cooked with very soggy batter. The chips were very small peices and surprisingly very gritty almost like there was sand in them!

Excellent fish and chip shop. Didn’t know we needed cash but luckily there’s a tesco around the corner. Good size portions and generous chips. Just what we needed whilst staying locally
Delightful atmosphere with staff and waiting customers. Really delicious plaice (my friend said it was the best she had ever had) and my cod and chips was excellent.

Fresh fish, crispy chips and not greasy. Mushy peas with the perfect consistency.
