Just tried it for first time . Nice and hot food . Noodles with shrimps was really good. In portion was enough shrimps , that’s really nice . BBQ ribs was also tasty . Definitely will buy again.
We thought we'd try yhe Golden boat as the reviews were good I placed a phone order for delivery was told an hour after an hour 25 minutes I rang up I was told straight away its on it way with in 5 mins it did arrive it looked really nice but it was cold
Delicious food, delivered at time they said. Was all lovely and hot, plus extra bonus of complimentary prawn crackers. Will most definitely be back.
I ordered a mushroom omelette with chips and satay sauce last night ,which all ended up in the bin .The chips were so hard the mushrooms were spongey and the sauce was so sweet . I have been using this Chinese for over 25 yes now and have never had any complaints but this was totally disgusting, it will be a long time before I order again, hope to hear from you soon
What has happened to their food? We usually love this place, but our last takeaway was awful. Food tasted, shall we say, strange. I am not blaming the restaurant for the fact that my wife exhibited all the symptoms of food poisoning during the next 24 hours. Simply because I have no evidence
Did I complain later? No - absolutely no time on my busiest month. Writing this purely because it was requested.
They say they don't deliver to SO postcodes despite not specifying that on online copy of brochure (we're literally a mile down the road). Won't be giving them my custom now even when I'm able to come in and collect.
Best Chinese we've ever had ! Friendly staff and amazing food ! Couldn’t recommend enough
Best chinese I've eaten In years we have never found a chinese that could compete with our old local but this tops it! Sweet and sour Hong Kong is beautiful, wasn't so keen on the chicken curry.
I'd recommend anyone to give them a go :-)
