My partner and I spent 4 days exploring the area. Glennan House was our starting point every day since the distances are quite reasonable to explore the area, including crossing to Skye.||Janet is very kind and friendly; she made us feel at home every day.||The breakfast is delicious. The bed is very comfortable as well as the pillows, and the bathroom is in perfect condition.
What a lovely, warm, welcoming place to stay. Perfectly located at the end of the road and with view of the hils and loch. Janet is a supreme host and made me feel very welcome in what is a gorgeous wee corner of Scotland. I will denitely visit again when I am back in the neighbourhood. Thankyou ????
I stayed just the one night as I was on my way to Skye for a weeks photography workshop, but wish I could have stayed much longer. Glennan House was just the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed at. A beautiful house in an amazing setting. We booked to stay here last year as part of our road trip around Scotland with some friends. So pleased we did, not only was this the best accommodation during our trip with fantastic value for money, it exceeded our expectations in every way. Janet is a friendly and caring host, nothing is to much trouble, the rooms are spotless and well appointed, the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. What a view to wake to from our second story room! We arrived after dark and the surrounding mountains and fields were stunning, roaring river coming down to the loch. Lovely host and delicious breakfast. End of a narrow lane so very private.
This was our stop for exploring the Isle of Skye. While it is pretty far off of the beaten path, it is a cozy, charming and immaculately cared for B&B. We all agreed that we would not be able to keep the carpets as white as our hostess. They offered a wide variety of breakfast items - more than we had expected.
