Best KPortal Reviews

Went for Saturday lunch. Quite a wide choice of food with a different price for each plate size. I had a medium goat curry on the bone with rice for £10.
The food was excellent with an authentic Caribbean taste.
Highly recommended.
The staff were so unwelcoming when I came in! When I said hello, the lady working there didn’t respond, but just glared at me. I asked for an item on the menu and halfway through, she walked away into the kitchen! When she came back I repeated my order and she just said “What?” aggressively. I felt so disrespected that I decided to leave.
Was surprised as this place has good reviews… Food must be incredible to make up for the rude ness of the staff!!

Lovely people, amazing food we also got a selfie with the main man Glen.Would 100% recommend to any traveler going to or through the city of Bristol as we were.
Went for the first time after seeing Glen on TV, Staff and Glen were so friendly. Food was amazing and authentic, great portions for the price and so much choice. Nice atmosphere and community feel, made me proud to live in St Paul’s. Definitely will come again.
Wonderfully flavoured and big portion. I haven't tried Jamaican food before, but their akhee and saltfish taste uniquely delicious. It's Jamaican national fruit cooked to look "fluffy" like omelette. The jerk chicken is also good. Also, very friendly seller with lively music
The "as seen on TV" Glen's Kitchen #1 is every bit the hidden jem the stories make it out to be.
Its a short walk from the city centre and the thing that confronts you immediately is a large recipe for ackee and saltfish painted on the wall outside. Inside the wonderful staff are very helpful and even offered tips on seasoning and other things.
I had a medium sized vegetable curry with rice and peas, this is a generous sized medium.
The idea that just a few vegetables and some rice would be a wow meal is a hard sell but this is a wow meal, I finished mine and almost bought a second one straight away.
Rice and peas was nice but the curry is the star and its subtle flavours gently tickle your taste buds while the whole meal almost wraps you in a warm blanket of comfort food.
Glen's Kitchen #1 is number one, no doubts.
We have often got a Too Good to Go box but decided to eat in today - kids Easter hols...
Kids love it and definitely worth the money, its worth a visit - you won't regret coming here
Passing through to an appointment. Felt hungry, so I stopped here. Excellent food, lovingly prepare for a really good price. Facilities were tidy with all that one would expect. Will go back for a lunch box to sample the jerk chicken
