Part of my order was two medium fried chicken meals and asked for leg and thigh pieces. Delivery came and I got chicken back and breast pieces. None of which the children eat. So the children ended up with freezer food that added to the wait time to eat and there's two meals that won't get eaten. A total waste of £18. So unprofessional. Not ordering from there again. You need to do better.
Ordered food today. Never been delivered. Ordered at 20:00 & it’s now 22:02. Lady who picked up the call said driver is 5 mins away when really and truly the address is down the road. Surely it’s not gonna take 2 hours to delivery food that’s 5 min drive????. Never been so disappointed in this establishment won’t not recommend.
I wish they offered delivery more often because every time I try they can’t accommodate. But that’s the only downside.
The food is tasty, you get really large portions and it tastes amazing. The curry goat and rice and peas is my favourite. The lamb patties taste so good and you’re always served within good time even when they are busy
Peppered Steak, Rice & Peas, Steam Veg. Fried Fish. Good presentation. Lovely friendly staff. Parking can be an issue but it's worth going around the block. The food was delicious. Got Medium Meal, Bottle of Water, piece of Salmon (fried fish) and a Super Malt for £10.30. Excellent value. Great food, will def visit again and again ????
This it not and I repeat not Caribbean food! I don't like to slate small businesses but this is not acceptable. I will start with the good the plantain and festival were delicious. The curry chicken was curry chicken but not carribean curry more like a Indian the chicken was tender and it was edible but not what it was supposed to be. I asked for veg on all meals and there was no veg. The large portions I paid for had 6 and 7 pieces of chicken. Now, for the worst part, I called nearly 2 hours after I ordered, and the woman was polite. She said it was on the way and said it was because they needed to make more lamb chops. So when it came as I put the phone down, I was expecting delicious fresh chops. They were cooked in bisto gravy. I kid you not you heard me right Bisto gravy. I am shocked and appalled. That's wild. I am a cook myself and fancied a day off as I have things to do, so I didn't want processed food. I wanted some proper Caribbean. It was edible. My advice is that they research real carribean recipes and stop taking orders of they can not get the food to people in a reasonable time frame
The Chicken is very nice. The gravy has a nice sweet BBQ taste. Dumplings are awesome.
First time I have tried this place and it was very nice.
Food is nice but the young girl behind the counter as a attitude problem like her mother who used to suck her teeth at the customers, not seen the mother for abit she was a nasty woman, went in today and the young girl speaks to a male staff member absolutely disgusting calling him death cos he walked past the Uber eats machine when it was beeping, if I was him I’d tell her to stick her manky job where the sun don’t shine, plenty more jobs out there
Why are you so slow ?? Sorry but when the shops full with a queue should you not concentrate on getting them out the way instead of doing just eat orders n one guy serving!!??? It’s a joke honestly. Had to walk out big man.
