Tried the food from here for the first time in 18 months as iwas dissapointed then but was very impressed on friday the food was lovely and i got a good size portion of chips great value for money
Wife bought home fish and chips but couldnt eat the fish. As soon as the fish was opened you could instantly smell that it was off. I don't know how old the fish was but the smell was horrid. Won't be returning.
Just before closing so had low expectations. Sausage was OK but the chips were the worst I have ever had. They were rancid. It wasn't the vinegar either. Possibly the fat they were fried in needed changing months ago. I expected, at such a time, maybe overcooked, possibly greasy, probably warm chips. That would have been fine. There is no excuse for selling those.

Worst fish and chips ever. Chips half cooked and soggy fish questionable if was cod batter like leather. I will not be going back. Not even worth one star.
beautiful chips. i was going to have a cod but looked overcooked and greasy. Used to be good chip shop but itsawful.
Great food, tried a few chip shops in Rugeley and this is my favourite. Friendly staff and nice food. What more could you ask for.
