Ordered a takeaway for the first time as it was new on just eats. Chips arrived cold and tasted like rubber. The burger was lukewarm and was not great as not hot. Not worth the money. Overpriced food that you wouldn’t mind paying for if hot and a bit cheaper for what you get. But still overpriced and was not worth the money we spent.
Great pub with a fantastic atmosphere. Food was lovely and the staff were really attentive. Great for family’s/ drinks with friends. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Stayed here for 2 nights as we where attending a family christening in the village. Our room was immaculately clean and well prepared. Breakfast was a continental style delivered on trays in the morning to our room. Excellent value for money. Just 1 small point a TV in the room would have been appreciated as the village after about 7.00 pm is very quiet. Would definitely stay again.
Very nice pub with ample parking outback. Jordan that delt with us was amazing he couldn't of been more accommodating as we had a 3 Yr old and a 4 week old. The burgers are amazing we will be back to sample a Sunday roast.

Continental Breakfast delivered to the room for at 7am.
BUT
Don't stay in Room 2, there is a noisy water pump that will keep you awake.
We have been to George & Dragon a few times over the last couple of months. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is very family friendly. We have tried everything on the menu - the burgers, the pies, the starters - it is all good quality food. And the new team (management and staff) are very friendly and committed. Hope they go from strength to strength.
Very nice pub, however food was very expensive for what you get. £8.50 for a smallish burger and £3.50 for 10chips!! I can buy 2 bags for chips if not more elsewhere! Food was good quality but wouldn't go mad for it. Feeling deflated after the other reviews ????
