Sadly Tracey is proving to be impossible to track down & is appalling at responding to emails or coming back to her clients in any way.
We are now trying to get our paperwork back from them (the originals that they insisted were posted, for them to ignore) so that we can go elsewhere. The problem is, how do you retrieve paperwork from someone who doesn’t respond?!
We started this process in December with them. It’s almost April and we’ve had little to no response on anything, not even confirmation of receipt of our documents - thankfully we posted tracked. Our emails are ignored, phone calls not returned and requests for appointments not taken up because Tracey is always busy. I hope the people she is busy with are getting their cases sorted!
I recently completed a house sale and John was my solicitor. He's a no nonsense type of guy which I prefer. He gets the job done. No issues at all and everything completed in a timely manor. I'd definitely use this firm again. Thank you ????????
Avoid. Tracey is supposed to work there but I think she’s just a made up person. Does not reply to emails and is never available on the phone. She doesn’t reply with left voicemails.
Customer service is non existent at this place. Please avoid and use someone else .
I've used Geoffrey Hill & Co many times over the last 5 years and have found them to be friendly, helpful, and extremely efficient. Tracy, who looks after property sales and purchases , came to me, and she is brilliant. Long completion dates are a thing of the past with her.
Unfortunately, recently had a really unprofessional experience with Geoffrey Hill. Have been trying to make contact with Tracey for 6 months after she originally agreed to take on our case in January. Every time I called the office I was asked to call back later, but Tracey was not available. I then asked to be called when Tracey was available which is yet to happen. Our emails haven’t been responded to. We have been left with no choice but to walk away and find a new solicitor.
Do not use!
We chose John Cruickshank of Geoffrey Hill & Co as our conveyancer for a house purchase. In four months we received 2 phone calls from him and absolutely no progress reports. My partner took to calling and visiting every day as we were in danger of losing our purchase. He noticed that Mr Cruickshank did not have any sign of a PC in his office or even a phone. He barely remembered our names or what we were employing his services for. After many exasperating weeks in which we were passed from pillar to post we voluntarily pulled out of the purchase and told Mr Cruickshank we would no longer require his services. Please do not put yourself through the stress and upset that we endured.
NB: This is purely a review for John Cruickshank, not anybody else who works as part of the Company
Tracey was so helpful during what was an emotional time after losing our Mum, she made the process of the probate and later the selling of our Mum's house less painful and complicated. I shan't hesitate to use her services again, highly recommend.
I have bought and sold two Properties with Tracey Bailiss, Geoffrey Hill and co,, In the last couple of years. I couldn't be moe thrilled with their services, absolutely amazing!
Delightful to do business with and I’m selling my third property to. Buy another and I would never use anyone else, they are delightful, quality Professionals. I’m a single mom, I’ve never had a mortgage, Tracey and the lovely team have helped me so much, advised me wisely and I’m selling another property and I would not use another Solicitors. They are brilliant and don’t mess about or waste your time.
