No care or empathy whatsoever. Was in agony during a tooth extraction due to an abscess which caused the anesthetic to not take effect. My mouth was numb but the area around the tooth was still raw. The dentist didn't notice the pain I was in her assistant was the one who noticed and tapped the dentist. The pain was so intense less than half way through I was too scared to open my mouth anymore. I had to dig my nails into my arms to get through the rest. They tried to make me leave the room not long after finishing. I was still hyperventilating and crying, I couldn't think of anything worse than walking though the waiting room full of people in that state.
It took me a year to go back, I was still very scared. Rebooked my appointment for fillings and then cancelled within a decent time frame. Good few months later I called to make a new appointment and found my number had been blocked.
Rude staff, ridiculously lacking empathy and care, went for my 2 year check up and my teeth were fine, but upon leaving I became in pain, booked I for a check up, attended said check up, they'd said I need a filling in the tooth that they had proded and poked in on the check up, booked an appointment but needed to rearrange, rung and rearranged this within plenty of time, became unwell on the day of appointment and rung to explain one of my major health problems has caused me to become poorly but have now been kicked out of the practice alltogether! The tone in which the receptionist used with so vile, their policies are unorthodox and lack all care and compassion especially since they are the reason I got a bad tooth as a result from a check up in the first place!! Would not recommend this practice if my life depended on it
Always had a good experience here, but I missed a few appointments this year due to my father literally dying in hospital and my mind being elsewhere.
This place proved they don't care about their patients just the money as they took me off their system despite the situation I was dealing with and the fact I'm in pain.
The dental care in this country is currently a joke, especially when no dentist in the area will accept patients!
Absolutely terrible place I cancelled 2 appointments due to me being in hospital then rang up when I got out to arrange one and they took me off the list I told them I could of died if did not go all I had off them was it's nothing they can do awful place avoid!!!
Excellent dentist very thorough and very caring, I am a very nervous person, terrified of needles ???? but the dentist was so lovely used numbing cream and explained every step in details, even the dental nurse was very lovely and she was talking through every minute of my appointment so I don’t feel anxious. Very lovely staff. Thank you very much for everything.
I am sorry that some people have had a bad experience with this practice because I have only ever had a really good one. I am a 'nervous patient' and from the very first contact I have totally had a good experience. The staff are kind, caring, professional and thoughtful. From the front desk to the dental surgeon and nurse they are first class in my opinion. Thank you Gentle Dental xx
Had filling last week and half of it fell out naw today the packing and rest of it fallen out. In agony made emergency appointment and they want to send me back. Not a chance I'll put up with the pain until a different dental surgery is available.
If I could give no stars I would!! Absolutely appalling treatment with no care whatsoever. Crack in back of tooth, had 2 fillings because the fillings they were putting in kept falling out, and charged £48 each time!! The dentist decides the tooth has to come out £200 and takes out a front tooth because there was a crack in it, fitted a denture on a plate that "didn't fit at all" and dentist says "What do you expect me to do about it!!" Also has bits of old tooth literally coming through the top of gum. Will be taking this all the way. After publicly asking for people's opinions on this dental practice and the horrendous stories I have received this practice should be shut down.
