Great garage genuine no frills cars are repaired. They do the job and you only pay for what needs doing. They are friendly and extremely professional super place to go. Mot's also done and servicing. Easy to find not far from chimney and farm foods. They go the extra mile to accommodate you and your needs if you will. Graham who owns the garage is a great man and knows his stuff. I will always take my car to Gates. Still doing a first class job.

Customer service and repair service is just beyond 5 stars I had a repair done a year ago and the repaired part apparently had to be replaced again. The mechanic and owner decided that they will replace the part under warranty and not charge any labour or fee. Honestly I think this is one of the best repair service centre in Carlisle and I am happy to trust my car at all times to this company. The experience and expertise they have is just great and I recommend everyone to bring the car here for repair not even go to your car dealer where they charge you 200 quid for an hour of diagnostic and then still dont have a clue what they are doing . BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THEY ARE GREAT AT WHAT THEY DO.
Amazing service super helpful staff. Fast and efficient not to mention saves you loads of money. The only place I will go for tyres etc. Thank you Peter! I would recommend them to anyone that needs tyres.

Been using this garage for many years now and never had anything except brilliant service from everyone involved. From MOTs to repairs to servicing through to fixing a number plate that had fallen off. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Graham and the team know their stuff and are friendly and helpful with any car issue I've ever needed them for.
They're also very reasonable with their charges and have never billed for work that wasn't needed. If it needs doing. they'll tell you. If it doesn't need doing, then it doesn't need doing. If you need garage to fix or service your car / van, then look no further.
Cannot recommend them highly enough.
