Rude and unaccommodating. Had a booking for 11 people to celebrate a birthday. Popped in with some balloons the day before the booking to ask if they could be blown up and the owner refused saying they wouldn't have time and he didn't know where the balloon pump was. If I want the balloons I will have to blow they up myself and bring them in. These were basic balloons that you could blow up by mouth and you do not need a pump. Cancelled the booking. If a business cannot accommodate to a party of 11 by putting up some balloons then you don't deserve our custom.
Unbelievably rude owner. My wife and mother in law had to pull into the large empty car park in an emergency after a dramatic tyre blow out. I would expect a decent human being to enquire as to whether two ladies in a vulnerable situation were ok. Instead, the owner launched into a tirade about how it was private property and the premises was closed. She demanded that they leave the car park and drive back out onto the busy A40 to the nearest lay by to change the wheel! Quite incomprehensible how anybody in the business of serving the public would behave in such a manner.
We have lived about 8 miles from this restaurant and have never visited it, we have missed out! Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and great food and good value. We are definately visiting again soon.
Brilliant service. Good menu and fair price. Level access for wheelchair users too.
Have eaten lunch here twice (on long journeys along A40) and enjoyed it very much both times.
Handy spot for a stop on the A40 and always a good welcome and tasty meal.
It's rubbish and the place is closed down so remove from the site
