Wonderful location and lived the privacy. Really spacious cottage, hot tub was private and beautiful views over fields with horses and cattle and the Irish Sea to your left. Great staff and a big shout out to the hot tub man (didn't get a name)||The kids have now become obsessed with darts after visits to the sports bar on site, and the premier shop has everything we need. Will come back again.
Lovely Cottage courtyard 2 , me and 4 girlsfriends spent a weekend there , we were pleasantly surprised at how nice and comfy it felt, new carpets throughout the property , 4 bedrooms, 3 showers , patio area and hot tub was great|only downside was no toilet upstairs but we didn't bother so much.|will definatley be back for sure.|Taxi into Gatehouse of Fleetwood was bit expensive for 4 mile up the road, albeit it was a 6 seater but between 5 its nothing really i suppose|We booked The Ship Inn food was fab|
Myself and 4 friends have just returned from a 3 night stay in courtyard 1. We had a brilliant time and cannot fault Galloway cottages. The cottage was spotless, spacious and had everything you could need for you stay. The cottage was beautifully decorated, very modern and fresh. We made full use of the hot tub just wished it had a canopy or something covering as unfortunately, we aren’t blessed with the good weather in our country however the weather didn’t stop us making the most of it! The shop on site has everything you could need and is so reasonably priced with friendly and helpful staff! The location in terms of views is absolutely stunning, we enjoyed a beautiful walk down to the water front. We are already planning our next visit!
This was our third time visiting here . But not sure if we would return after our terrible experience this year . We had all gone to bingo down at club and purchased our wristbands £5 each . My 10 year old nephew who is autistic went to cash in his tokens and was refused entry back into bingo hall by security because he never had his wristband on He was totally distraught and left outside crying. Why couldn’t the security guard ask him to show them where his family was and come for us other than leaving a kid crying outside . I have reported this to the management but haven’t had any feedback .
Home from home finished to a high standard . The standard of cleanliness was excellent. Everything you need has been thought about , hair dryer in main bedroom small not a lot of power handy enough for after the hot tub. Kitchen has everything needed if you want to cook. Tv has Amazon prime , so nice to chill with a film . Will defo return .
Spacious, very clean, great location and it was great having the hot tub. The only let down was the very temperamental WiFi for the kid's tablets - sort that for parents sanity please. That said we would have no hesitation staying here again, brilliant.
Beautiful cottage! |We stayed in cottage 3 which was the 4 bedroom pet friendly cottage with hot tub. On arrival there were biscuits, coffee, tea ect on the table for us, beds made up, plenty of towels and toilet roll included in all 3 bathrooms. On looking in the kitchen cupboards there were dog poo bags, bin bags, throw away bbqs, washing up liquid, sponge and dishwasher tablets. Enough for a few days for us. I was very happy with this although I had brought my own for delivery the following day. It was lovely to have them ready for us. |Hot tub was a little smaller than we are used to. But was still nice and the hot tub lights were not working. Very minor issue! |The cottage did not smell of pets and it was clean on arrival, free wifi didn’t work the first day - as soon as we told reception they came and fixed it. Since then the wifi has been perfect and that is for 3 children to play games on an evening too, so we’re all happy! |I would definitely recommend coming here for a break, the only thing I would say to improve on is the mattress, it is definitely not the most comfortable mattress we have had a bad back every day sleeping on it, however children are all happy with their beds. I won’t let it affect the star rating as it may just be our bed preference. |Launderette on site is good, £5 for a normal wash and £2 for dry. Definitely worth it if you are like me and cannot stand to leave dirty washing on holiday. |The food from rob n rollers is great and reasonable cost for delivery/takeaway around £30 for 5 of us. Eating in is more expensive but still around £50 for a lunch for the 5 of us. |The adventure park is fantastic! Great addition to the park and the kids love climbing the rocks on the beach. |The arcades are good, the kids enjoyed going to them and helped to pass an hour for them on the evening, we didn’t use the pool as our son had an operation so wasn’t able to go in but it seems like a nice little pool for family fun. |The premier shop on site is great, fully stocked and great prices. Probably one of the better shops we’ve experienced on site. |Plenty of main shop’s available around 15 mins drive (Tesco,co-op, Sainsbury’s, Aldi) or get an Asda delivery straight to the cottage. Which is what we always do when we are away :)
Gorgeous cottage and hot tub, perfect location. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Perfect getaway and view
