Had a fantastic experience at the fish and chips shop thanks to Ajey! He was incredibly nice and super active, going out of his way to recommend delicious options. Superb fish supper eaten in the shelter of the car as heavy rain clouds rolled in over Loch Fyne. Good size portion, perfectly cooked. Not too greasy, not too dry. Side order of curry sauce for dunking my chips in. Washed it down with proper 1901 Irn Bru and sat until dark contemplating why Barr's did away with these glass cheques.
I parked adjacent to Para Handy's Vital Spark puffer, unmistakable in red and black. Good accessible toilets here, besides parking spaces for all modes of vehicle from motorbikes to blue badge to campervan. And it's just a short hop to the chippy on the main street!
Check the parking meter carefully. Sometimes it's free although it may not be immediately obvious!

Disappointing. A couple of years ago we got the most amazing special fish supper from here, visited again yesterday but the food was very disappointing. £12.80 for a special fish supper, one small burnt fish and a miserly portion of chips! Avoid! We will not be back ????
Fish and chips cooked perfectly. No grease and perfectly seasoned. Generous portion for two people. Quality of fish exceptional. Very light and crisp batter. Eaten looking out over Loch Fyne. Life doesn’t get better for those of us who like simple pleasure
Great food and brilliant friendly service. Had fish and chips which were lovely but extra pakora .... fantastic..you must try, these are the best! Love you guys, you do a brilliant job.
The guys at Fyne Fish & Chips are the best.
They were able to cater for a large function tonight. They provided superb fish & chips for a party of 26 within Cairndow Village hall. This allowed us to hold our Xmas party for our soup hub group.
They can cater for parties large and small with sufficient notice.
The food was great and packaged to last the 10 mile trip to its destination.

Me and my partner have travelled up from Preston and are staying in the local spa, we decided to try this chippy and it didn’t disappoint. The fish was cooked to perfection, the batter was great and the curry and gravy sauces were amazing. The curry sauce was mild and sweet which I prefer. The service of the two gentlemen was heart warming, very chatty and easy to talk too. Great service all around, when back in these parts of the woods we will be visiting again
The staff were so extremely friendly! The out door seating in the grey drizzle made me feel like I was in Scotland first the first time at the end of my short one day trip from a cruise. The fish was the best I've ever had and I'm from New England so that says a lot! I highly recommend this place!
