normally love this place but tonight’s tea was very disappointing asked for fish and chips and this is what i got fish wise, i mean like come on i know we’re living in hard times but really, that was what the size of a small bread cake.

so i decided to try this place again months later and only again disappointed £11:50 for fish and chips and the fish was the size of a battered sausage, looks like the dopy looking woman ( or whatever it identifies as ) looks like she give me a kids meal, but it really wasn’t, the second picture is fish and chips, looks like sausage and chips. Shocking

The best chippy around! It will not be beaten.

Just bought 1 sausage&small chips

2 small fish&chips

1small peas

1small gravy

It came to an astonishing £24 and fish wasn't finished by my children because "its horrible"......my children said.

Its quite rare we have a takeaway because everything is just so expensive now so have a bad one at that price is upsetting.

We won't be going to frying next again.

Nah t’be the bummer o the century, like, but it’s just not the same as the proper custom recipes, eh? This Australian chain, and the creepy name, it’s a bit run down, probably shipped the fish alfway round the world, and now it’s gone a bit rubbery, you know. I’m from Whitby, and maybe I’ve ad an upgrade from these standards, but for goodness sake, it’s arder than ell to make it just right. And ya can’t just leave it angin around and gettin robery. Decent service I might ad.

Not a fan, as this is the only fish and chip shop in the area where the fish gives me stomach ache. The chips are great though!

very good fish and chips,but there prices are over the top..£9.50 FOR FISH AND CHIPS.....when only £8.25 from mr c`s in selby.70p for 1 bread cake..and £1.50 for a small peas/curry sauce

Very nice fish and chips

Opted for the jumbo cod (regular size looked a bit small) and it was absolutely delicious. Chips very good although the mushy peas lacked a bit of flavour but spot-on with consistency (not stodgy). Definitely visit again.
