My dad, a pensioner brought home some chips and they were awful. Could taste old oil and they were all dried up. Looks like they gave him leftovers at 1pm in the afternoon. I would be embarrassed to sell chips like this to any customer. Disgraceful.
I really liked this place, beautiful background music, quiet with a very cordial and friendly service.
The fish is fresh and the perfect amount
I would do it again without a doubt and I recommend it for couples, families or a group of friends.

Honestly cannot fault this place! This fish and chips are INCREDIBLE! My family has ordered from here twice in the last month and both times has been consistently amazing. The fish is so fresh, the crispiest batter (not soggy or greasy) and the chips are delicious, again not soggy and perfectly crisp. The service just makes it even more better. So glad to have found an amazing takeaway service, we feel like we’re on the coast every time we eat from this place!!

I am local ,only been once before 2 yrs ago...and it was good.
This evening however...I have never had such a large fish before and so beautifully cooked- light crispy thin batter. Never write reviews , the fact I have here says all that needs to be said.
More importantly, customer service 6 out of 5! The older gentleman who serviced me was wonderful, indeed all 3 staff were and again I apologise ,even if not needed, for my tiredness and below par customer service on my side :)
I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and will continue as long as I live round here.
A tip for all those getting chips: if possible, get the chips open in a cone rather than wrapped up as it makes them so much crispier when it comes time to eat.
