Happened to be staying in Dina's Cross and popped in here for an evening meal. Comfortable pub with an interesting selection of beers and rather good selection of pub food. I had a 10oz medium rare steak which was cooked to perfection and absolutely brilliant. Left perfectly satiated.
We called in to eat based on other reviews.
Food and service was just outstanding! So much so we visited twice during our week long stay at Dinas Country Club.
The menu was not extensive but i felt that was a positive. The chefs take on the Eton Mess was a pleasant surprise and would totally recommend.
The local ales they provide were also amazing.
Well done folks, see you next year.
Spent a grand evening sitting out in the beer garden as it was good weather. Almost stayed indoors as it was so cosy looking. The staff were very friendly and chatty. There's a good selection of well kept local ales served up here.
I was really pleased with the chilli con carne. Nothing thrown out of a tin here as it was definitely homemade and with just enough heat. Very tasty. The grassed beer garden was very pretty. Well worth a visit to this lovely local pub.
Nice friendly pub in Dinas Cross. Friendly staff. Limited menu for Sunday lunch. Around £15 for beef roast dinner. Average price and taste. Cosy atmosphere.
A lovely pub with a warm welcome. It was quiet when we visited but the place was warm, staff were very friendly and the food was excellent! We'll definitely visit again when in the area.
Came here a fortnight ago and what a find! Great beer, lovely homemade food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our only regret was that we found the place on the last night of our holiday... but we'll be back! Thank you!
Superb little pub very friendly staff great atmosphere. Sunday lunch first class cant praise it enough. Well done ????
Started with a nice chewy dark ale before our meal, the pizzas are loaded, but not overwhelmed. 3 clean plates but no room for dessert! Finished off with a pint of foaming golden ale, and they even had coasters! (A rarity in pubs nowadays) Staff and locals were friendly and ready to chat.
