Great wee place. Can become very busy though, so advise to arrive earlier in the morning.
I had a banana and biscoff frappe which was to die for. Would be especially lovely on a Summer's day.

Waitresses were so lovely but management highly unfriendly. Food tasted awful, tasteless and watery, sorry but wouldn't ever go back.
Lovely little gem of a stop for all you need food and hot drink, the service is fantastic, one of the ladies well had all the patter, ask for cheese and ham toastie, for her to say no cheese no ham then it all started from there, I asked can I have a bowl of soup with no bowl ????, she was absaloutly amazing so funny and welcoming, oh they did have cheese and ham her patter was phenomenal, all staff served with a smile 10/10 for everything.

Absolute gem of an eaterie, this was my first visit. Had fantastic BBQ pulled pork fries for lunch, and possibly the best slice of carrot cake I've ever had in my life. Staff were very on the ball, friendly and smiley, quick service, reasonable prices, lovely atmosphere with staff chatting to customers young and old. Really nicely styled decor and menus/artwork on walls and outside the entrance, clean and tidy throughout. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Irvine.
Hadn't been in for years. But I was in for breakfast a few weeks ago and it was great. In for lunch today and again the burger special was lovely and the haggis fritter I could have had a plate of them alone. Well done to all still the same friendly environment.
Really not a place to visit staff non attentive no cutlery with our food. Cheap fillings no taste sadly
