Best salmon and cream cheese sour toast I’ve ever had!! Franx’s has quality coffee, cakes, delicious breakfast and lunches. Simple menu but wanted to eat it all. The interiors are also beautiful and contemporary and the staff were friendly and helpful. My favourite cafe I visited in Paignton
Came here for lunch with a friend. Menu was quite simple but if you want something breakfasty and with a twist then this is the place for you. Its small and independently run which i fully support and the owners put a lit of thought and research into the menu.
I had avocado on sourdough toast. The avocado blend with chilli was flavorful, id say the toast needed a bit longer in the toaster but the bread was definitely fresh which was a plus. I had a latte whuch was also good. Everything was presented nicely. The wait for the food also wasnt too bad.
The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. It seemed to have a writer vibe to it in terms of the kind of customers they had plus families and pensioners. For people in wheelchairs or with pushchairs please note the access is via a couple of steep steps into the premises. I'd come back here. Recommend.

The food was super nice, chilled vibe, excellent coffee. Really beautifully designed cafe with an eye for excellence. Welcoming staff with good knowledge about the menu. Only a preference thing for me, I wish they offered poached eggs! ????????
Can’t recommend Franx enough. The food is absolutely amazing, the ethos, branding environment are all seamless, a definite asset to the Preston community. The coffee is next level too. I can’t wait for my next visit.
This will deffo be a regular of mine. Wishing Frankie & her team all the best in her new venture, can’t wait to see it go from strength to strength. ????

Great little find with a not so typical menu. Limited menu but still lots of different choices and all comes across as being a healthy nutritious place to eat.
Coffee is nice, however the coffee sizes are not all that generous so ask for a large and you might get a regular.
Decor and atmosphere tick all the boxes (although when entering that dusty fan could do with a clean;)
Overall five star and will be nipping in again when I'm passing.

I ordered the pastrami sandwich.
My partner went for the avocado on toast.
Both sandwiches were well made and tasted good. The pastrami sandwich needed a bit less mustard as it was overpowering the other flavors.
Coffee was fantastic , they source their beans from the curator in totnes.
All in all it was a positive experience
Nice coffee shop, newly decorated in a tasteful way and slightly upmarket due to this. Good coffee and lovely cakes, also light meals. Has outside seating at rear. Will appeal to the younger set, but the music probably too loud for the 60 plus clientele, also the noise of the coffee and smoothie makers rather spoilt the otherwise pleasant ambiance for us.
