Every time we come to the coast, whether it's Scarborough, Fraisethorpe or Bridlington we always end up coming here, food is always spot on, massive portions and you can tell its all cooked fresh, we bring our dog too, he loves it, they do a specific doggy dinner and he wolfs it down!!! All the staff we have dealt with are friendly and is generally a nice pub!! Well worth a visit!! (It's one of our favourites!!) An ample sized, free car park and a great outside seating area too!!
Two visits in 1 week
First visit was Tuesday 16th about 5.30 with the misses food was lovely as always and had the chicken sizzler and the other half had the fish and chips both spot on.
Second visit off the week was today 20th and me and my pal shared the desperate dans mixed grill everything was cooked to perfection coming from two chefs.
Kids meals seem to always be perfect to as my daughter came today and had the kids pizza and chips.
Between me the misses and my pal we never have a bad word to say and will be back in a few weeks for the big breakfast next we think.
Absolute gem of a place. The staff are so lovely, the food is amazing with massive portions at very reasonable prices. We loved the Sunday roast so much that we want back again the next night. Would highly recommend
Awesome. Good portions loads of choices. I.went for a mega breakfast,well worth it and plenty of it. Rude not to empty my plate. My guest had a standard portion and was unable to finish.
Both of us enjoyed the food. Too full for pudding.

Great food and a wide choice. Not lots for a vegetarian, but a decent selection. Food well priced and very tasty. Massive pub, but service is good. smaller portions menu also available for pensioners and children. Only criticism would be that plates are cleared the moment you finish ????
Huge delicious portions at a reasonable price. Worth waiting for a table if it's busy. For such a big place food comes out faster than you'd expect. They also do bowls of dog food as it's very dog friendly.
Very busy because it's food is great. Very tasty n huge portion sizes. Drinks range is great and very very reasonably priced. Staff are great and it's a decent place to sit n have your bait
It was a busy Sunday afternoon, we were pleased to be welcomed by friendly staff, and seated immediately. I fully understand the food & drinks ordering system and the food when it arrived was very good.
But, ( you knew there’s be a ‘but’!) we were dismayed to see so much food wasted and taken away back to the kitchen most probably to be wasted … so… I asked for a box to pack up the food I couldn’t eat … the chips I was too full to eat, & was a bit shocked to be charged 50p for the thin box. Also disappointed to realise that the nice fat steakhouse chips on my plate were neatly placed covering a plate full of scrappy thin chips. Lack of consistency here.
