My husband and I visited here with our friends on a weekend away last week and it was the best meal I have ever eaten! Our food was fresh, hot and delicious. I had the rump steak and it was cooked perfectly and the chips were lovely too. Very friendly people. Would recommend to everyone. It's a shame we live so far but will definitely be back if we visit the area again ????
Had a really lovely meal here and can’t recommend this pub enough.
There is pub food and then there’s pub food to a really high standard and this is Fox & Hounds. Freshly made, freshly cooked, great ingredients and everything was served hot.
Great food and amazing friendly service. I had the bacon and cheese burger which was clearly fresh and homemade also very generous. I was determined to finish it as it was delicious. My partner had the mushroom burger which was also excellent. We were also impressed by the drinks selection.

Lovely atmosphere ,nice and clean. Land lord and lady were nice. Food was gorgeous and all locally sourced .I had the Hunters Chicken coleslaw was home made. Great Value .
We accidentally came across this pub. What a GEM of a place, the food was outstanding and its what I call proper pub food, really reasonable price, locally sourced veg and meat. Great little play park for the kids too, we will be returning
