Can never get a appointment and when u ask them for medication when your others ain’t working and I’m so much pain no doctor cares about I I had a chest infection 3 times in 2 months and had to call 111 this place needs closing down for sure I’ve had enough of telling them about my pain plus when you call all u get is your maximum caller in queen please try again later then when you do get through it’s no appointments I called them 15 times when I got through no appointments there’s no way in the world a full day of appointments go in half a hour this surgery needs shutting down I got told by doctor hall to go home and die quitely how unprofessional is that
Dr Bruno Rushforth is excellent, some of the reception staff are very rude to patients, having spoken to the practice manager in the past About it nothing seems to have changed
Certain receptionist is very rude and intrusive told my hubby docs dont do telephone calls anymore and was rude to me in front of other patients and a nurse its awful.
What's the point of being registered with a GP if you can never get an appointment. Every morning I ring at 8 exactly, after a ridiculously long hold, guess what, no appointments available. What an absolute joke.
Receptionists are also rude and make you feel like you are such an inconvenience.
Avoid this place, had to ring 111 as the gp just flat put refuses to help anyone unless u call at 8. Go die in a coner if u not able to, wont even issue tablets if u run out. Needs shuting down they gave no duty of care and are not fit for purpose.
After a phone call appointment. I explained to the doctor that I am in a lot of pain as pero tooth broken. The infection is now up to my head and my ear, also my nose and my forehead, I can’t eat as I have a cavity in one tooth on the other side of my mouth and he refuses to give me any Antibiotics after been more than 2 weeks taking paracetamol, ibuprofen, naproxen and cocodamol. There are no dentist that can see me in Leeds as they are al fully booked and 111 give an emergency dentist appointment within 7 hours.
I’ve rang again GP reception to see if I could get another appointment with another dentist who was qualified to prescribe me an antibiotic to remove the infection which is necessary in order to go and see a dentist to be able to fix the teeth, and the receptionist refuses to give me an appointment with another doctor.
The Doctor said that he would pass my appointment to another GP doctor and see if any of them wanted to prescribe me antibiotics. Let’s see if any other doctors ring me today…
Really bad GP surgery and really bad Staff.
Tell me to ring first thing waiting ages no matter what time you phone and the appointments they have all gone. How some the receptionists speak to you is not on your supposed to provide and care for your patients! And it's getting ridiculous hardly any face to face only when it's an emergency no wonder why 111 phone lines or a&e and walk Ins are so high demanding.
This is a fantastic surgery. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the Doctors are simply excellent. I say this as someone who sadly has a wealth of experience in ill health from a military injury. I can relate this surgery to the positive attributes of the military healthcare system and better in some cases.
Waiting times are on par with U.K. average or better and emergency appointments are available. Some have criticised this waiting time but when I needed it I managed to get one the same day and they do offer many.
Overall I find the Doctors first rate and everyone more than accommodating. A special mention to Dr Hall and Dr Cooper who I found to be outstanding.
We are quick to critique in healthcare but not forthcoming enough when credit is due as I believe it is in this case.
