Great job, walked in due to headlight not working. They managed to fix it straight away and didn’t take long. They also found further issues and fixed them. Whole job took maybe 15min, was in and out in 20. Thanks
Was suggested here by another local company and received nothing but the best service, from phone call to tyre change all in all 1 hour. The team of mechanics were quick and efficient, looking content in their work. I certainly will be returning but furthermore shall ensure I rave more about the great service, professionalism and pricing. You saved a few more days of commuting via bus on a bank holiday, thank you
My local Honda dealer where I usually have my PCX 125 serviced had closed down. It’s a 2014 bike which I’ve owned from new. It had been regularly serviced and has only done 30,000 miles.
I decided to get a full service on my scooter, even though it had only done about 3,000 miles since Honda did the last full service (which was £230) I got three quotes one was £210 inc parts, labour and vat, another was £187. I called Forte and they quoted £90 service and if any other parts needed not related to full service they’d let me know first. Although I thought it strange that it was so cheap, I decided to go with them because I thought they reason may of been because they located in a trading estate, were extremely busy and weren’t a main dealership, which was why they were able to offer such a competitive quote. Also 99% of their online reviews were extremely positive.
Well after I left the bike with them I was told it would be ready around midday. I called just after 12pm to check on the status and was told I could collect around 3pm. Then I got a call back from Ben, the owner of Forte and he said I needed a drive belt and roller set and rear tyre, which would be around £130 each and £70 for the tyre. I was stunned as i thought the other parts were factored in with a full service. Ben said the belt was hanging by a thread, which made me feel I had no choice but to agree to the cost. The total bill came to £425. After I paid I wasn’t even supplied with a bill that gave a full breakdown of the work carried out (parts, labour, vat), or cost, just a till receipt.
I feel like I’ve been scammed. Avoid like the plague!
