Always nice to have a new food option to the area! We first ate here on the weekend of the 18th June. It was busy on entry with 15 people either ordering or waiting. The waiting room is large! The interior looks cobbled together and DIY. The food itself was good and good value for what it was. Would be helpful if the owners had any type of web presence, opening times available, a menu to look at outside the shop / available and a stronger sense of communication about their BBQ food menu!
I’m a regular customer here and really enjoy the food! I highly recommend the fish and chips when in town. They have a fast service with a friendly team.
I’ve been here many times before and the last couple of times it has really got bad. Previously I saw the young girl behind the till with long brown hair put her fingers on her mouth while dishing up someone else’s food. When I went in today it just seemed like it was really under staffed. The same girl was struggling as it was busy and didn’t give me the right change. It wasn’t until I got home I realised otherwise I would probably have said something but shes also been rude before so not sure if I’d have got it. Perhaps more staff when it’s busy would help???

This is our second vist to fordham Village, our second time, to this fish and chip shop, one was a few weeks ago great wonderful staff and food and again today, celebrating a birthday, and again great wonderful food and wonderful staff, who don't get enough credit for, by reviews, great for our toddler, with family, highly recommended, staff, food, place, very clean, with a American style chip shop Diner with wonderful chairs and tables, highly recommendable for kids, family's parties or on your own. Pay cash or card was great too, Can't wait to come again many thanks
Just ordered scampi and chips, decent size portion of chips… but scampi pieces were tiny, looked like the basic ones from the supermarket, but the price was extortionate for what it was (note- don’t bother ordering scampi). I regret not giving the girl serving me a tip, tip being ‘please smile next time’… she looked like she was hating life. Also I wish they asked me if I wanted any sauce on top of my chips instead of just packaging it up and giving it to me without asking me anything.
