A brilliant little wine bar with both owners incredibly knowledgable about what they love. My partner and I had a great chat with them about all things Portuguese wine and some great cheeses.
Rich was very helpful and offered tasting samples of different ports before we bought a couple of bottles.
Gosh, three sausage rolls and two cups of tea cost £18. For this you expect your food on a plate and your tea in a tea pot with a cup and saucer. No napkin was provided and the tea was in a take out cup which is super poor for the environment. The sausage rolls were in bags and no offer of sauce. Avoid unless you like poor service costing a small fortune.
Very nice outdoor seating to sample some excellent Norfolk pastry - meat pie, sausage roll and veggie tart was our selection with a good strong coffee. Lost a star as a) expensive and b) the no entry with outdoor ordering/collection a bit excessive ????♂️
Returned and had a fabulous chunky fish finger ciabatta and a double cheese and poppy seed scone! Brilliant, but above re cost/seating still applies (what do they do in the rain??!!) ????
Exactly what I was looking for: a coffee shop, run by people that know how to make a proper flat white without steaming the milk to death. Slightly hipster-style interior with a ceiling made of reclaimed wood. Generous outside seating area, not too many seats inside. No toilets though, but there are public ones up the road.
The coffee and baked teacake were both great.

A great place to have a bite to eat and a cuppa before a nice coastal walk or simply a stroll around Wells-next-the-Sea. A great selection of cakes and and an excellent coffee awaits.
Take advantage of the lovely service, outdoor seating and sit back and people watch.
Very disappointed with the CRISPY goujons more like soggy fish fingers! Regret not asking if the fish was locally caught (thought that would have gone without saying). The food was not priced but overpriced. We don't mind paying for quality but it certainly was not. We really should have commented while we were there.
Heard other customers complaining about the most expensive sausage rolls that they had ever had.
Wine served in plastic cups understandable as outside but very small measures.
On a positive note it was a nice atmosphere outside.
Perhaps Flo & Joe could pass the comment on to the Ladies shop next door please, that it would be good to be spoken to when you go in . They would have made a sale if they had bothered. Found the lady in there VERY RUDE.

This is our 'go to' spot in Wells for coffee plus snacks and drinks for the kids. Best flat white in the town by a mile. Always service with a smile as well. And when the sun shines you can't beat the outdoor terrace which is the perfect suntrap. Lovely to see that there is now a wine bar for the grown ups which had a terrific cosy feel to it and an excellent selection of wines, with many in particular from Portugal. We will be coming back a lot this summer!
I sat on one of the benches on the outside for 10 minutes while I waited for it to open. Joe came out and told me impolitely I had to get up because he needed to remove the chain they put around the outside when closed. So I stood up but instead of removing the chain he cleaned the table tops and put the menus out. His attitude to customers is terrible. I suggest Flo keeps him in the back away from customers until he learns some manners. The food was OK but a bit overpriced for self service on disposable plates and cutlery. You put the stuff in a dustbin next to the table when finished. The 8 most expensive items on the menu don't show the prices I suspect to stop customers being put off ordering them. We are here for 3 weeks but won't go there again.
