I was hoping for a belter scran after reading some of the reviews but I was extremely disappointed. The chips were dreadful, under cooked and a distinct taste of oil with zero seasoning. Chicken fried rice was cold and the prawn toast was average at best
I tried The Five ways, oh wow it was amazing, beautiful fresh hot food delivered to my door in record time. Stephen Chan is a lovely person and his customer service is a big 10/10. Thanks everybody for your suggestions.........
After the outstanding facebook reviews, I have seen I knew I had to give the place a try, and wow, it did not disappoint salt and pepper is probably the nicest I have eaten in the past 10 years. The gentleman working behind the counter (not sure if he's a owner or worker) is absolute credit to the place. I have never ordered from a takeaway and had someone so polite and friendly to deal with it was very refreshing. Probably one of the best chippy in the North west for Chinese food ! Very highly recommended and will be our new regular if the soups etc are as good as the food we received the other night on our next visit ????
Might be the best Chinese food in town, heck might say it from the entire Merseyside!
Food that has TASTE(even the egg fried rice is delicious! Is not plain at all like in other restaurants/take aways) generous portions well worth the money (they're not that expensive IMO) and the service was always fast for me
The only downside that I can think of is that they only accept cash and you can't pay by card so be prepared

We been loyal customer for past yest or so never had an issue. Tonight we had a problem with the delivery driver , he never knocked loud enough, never rang our ring doorbell, and never call my mobile. Our bedroom window was open as were at the front of the house. Came back an hour later. My boyfriend told him take it back as food be cold. Rang up the Chinese lady was willing to do us a fresh. Yet her husband in the background told her to put the phone down and he isn't delivering to us again. How that our fault. Lost a loyal customer hope ur happy. My partner friends are loyal customers to. We will be telling them not to order from here either. Very bad customer service should of done us a fresh as the lady was willing to.
I live within a minute's walk of about 4 Chinese takeaways but I'd still rather drive the 5 minutes here.
Really good food, generous portions and the staff are really friendly.

By far the yummiest Chinese in St Helens. The crispy chilli beef is divine, chips and curry sauce so good! I would highly recommend trying. Lovely friendly service as well. Will be back...
