I live in hertford and it's worth travelling the extra few miles as they are the best fish and chips for miles all cooked perfect and at a good price the only down side is you may have to wait but that's not a problem I've never had any bad food here just go here if you want lovely fish and chips you won't regret it.
Absolutely lovely fish and chips, and here’s the thing, the gherkin was the best gherkin I’ve had since I don’t know when! I’d forgotten a gherkin could be so juicy and fresh. Well done.

Been coming here for years - a bit on the pricey side, but worth it for the quality fish and chips. Sometimes they get busy so you might have to queue briefly, but I believe you can order ahead. No parking, but 200 yards away is a public car park so easy to park. Good variety of fish on offer here - nice and fresh, always cooked well. Can definitely recommend as the best in Ware area.
Had excellent fish and chips etc from here. They even suggested a family meal offer to make it cheaper. Love that they have scraps/bits/scratchings too.
We have been using this takeaway for years because the fish is always of good quality. The chips are OK and the service is usually swift and polite. One recurring downside is that they only take cash and no credit cards. We've all become so used to using cards for every small purchase since the pandemic, it would be helpful if they accepted them.
Wow, another great Friday night dinner. We had the chunky chicken this time with curry sauce, it was so tasty & food was really hot, the chips are perfectly cooked. See you next Friday
We visit every Friday more or less, love the staff and can't find a better fish place in the area ❤️
Been using for the last couple of months, and not had a problem. Friendly staff. Good food at a good price. Best chips i have had from any chippy in Ware. I would recommend others to give them a fry, i mean try .
