The name caught my eye, first drink today perhaps? No, American football theme/vibe. No cask beers but very nice wine, too many televisions for my liking but locals chatting convivially.
Restaurant open tomorrow (wednesday).
Had a lovely meal tonight food and drinks were very good and anyway I hope to be back

My wife and I went for meal this afternoon, although it wasn't busy, we were still greeted warmly. The restaurant was cozy and welcoming, and the decor was really nice. Our server was a young lady called Caitlyn , who seated us and explained the rules due to Covid. My wife and I both had the homemade steak pie and apple pie and ice cream for dessert and we couldn't fault it,. Although you can't really go wrong with our choices, you still have to hit the mark, and the food did exactly that, the meal was outstanding!!, and we will definitely go back. P.S, as we paid by card, we forgot to give Caitlyn a tip, but when we go back I'll make sure she gets it, thank you for a lovely experience.
Went to the lantern restaurant which is attached to the first down pub. The staff are lovely and the food is great. Their menu is very reasonably priced and have a 3 course lunch for £8.50 advertised daily or you can choose from the main menu which is also read-only priced.

Not a bad little pub,wines fine,clean and comfortable but could do with some real ales,not one pub on Denny has any real ales,shame as all nice friendly pubs.
