A gorgeous gem of a castle ruin. Loved the brief time we had exploring and walking around, plus learning the history behind it. The beheading pit was a sight!
Fsntastic wander round this castle which is situated a very short walk from carpark. The grounds are very well kept for a ruin building this was well worth visiting
Nice little walk up not too far, imagine would be nice on a summer's day
Do not disregard this place. It may be a ruin and there are indeed signs of warning that the masonry is unstable. However, it has its own charm and it can be combined with a beautiful walk towards loch Tay. Ample parking space nearby is a bonus for those who are a bit of sluggards.
I can't believe something so historic and fragile is so accessible. This community is amazing.
A lovely little castle with a small information board that really allows you to connect with the previous occupants and their history over the years. There’s a little car park next to the field with plenty of sheep, then a 1 minute walk up to the castle grounds. A nice little stop off in a cute village.
A very well kept castle ruin. Plenty of parking available nearby and seems to be popular with tourists and locals alike.
An excellent place to explore or walk the dog.
There are danger notices around the site but I didn’t see anything out of ordinary for a castle ruin site.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area
Really interesting history and well kept remains of the castle. Worth a visit.
