If I could give zero stars I would. Incompetent mechanics. Had a service told brakes are all fine only for my breaks to start squeaking two days later. Went in to ask if they could have a look turns out brake pads and discs aren’t fine and told it should have been picked up on the service. Didn’t tighten the oil cap so that came loose and had oil splashing all of the engine and smoking. Spoke to the manager who was very condescending, shrugging his shoulders wasn’t listening to a word I was saying more interested that I didn’t come back for them to do my brakes. Buddy! If you did it right the first time I wouldnt of needed to come back and why on earth would I trust you to work on my car again!! I would leave with more problems then I came in with!!

Due to my company letting my van mot expire had to find somewhere to get an urgently needed mot, phoned up filwood service and mot centre phoned at 4pm, they gave me immediate answer and next day booking which was excellent service as no other garages could even concider doing one for 3/4 upto 7 days time.
Very polite and professional service and nothing was too much problem for them as my company based in Bury St Edmunds had to pay over the phone/email, so not straight forward!
TOP MARKS HIGHLY RECOMMEND!????????

UPDATED REVIEW. I previously left a review following a poor experience, where I turned up to my MOT booking and the garage was closed without notice. Following my review, I received a telephone call apologising for their lack of communication and an explanation as to what went wrong. They were able to book my car back in promptly and took care of my MOT for me. I could see they were extremely busy on arrival and Dean went above and beyond to ensure my car was sorted quickly.
Their apology and ownership has rectified the situation and it’s only fair to reflect this in my review.
Kind and considerate staff. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Totally trustworthy people.
Needing some advice and guidance about a misfiring engine alongside a need fir an MOT on the hurry up, they really stepped up to the plate and sorted everything for a very reasonable price. Knowledge, helpful and fair. Certainly worth going to fir any mechanical needs.
These guys are brilliant... They've serviced my Audi; removed a stone from a wheel without an appointment (what a noise it made...!); jumped started a flat battery (thank you!); and MOT'd it, with repairs to a brake caliper (?) & replaced a tyre. They're just SO friendly and helpful. It's difficult these days to find people / businesses you can trust, but I wouldn't take my car anywhere else now. Highly recommended. Paul is an absolute star! :-)
