The surgery have always been accommodating and I've never had a really bad experience. The Doctors aren't always the same and for someone like me with 'White Coat Anxiety' that can be extremely difficult, but it doesn't influence the care or treatment provided.
The nurses are all lovely and I see them for routine blood work and again never a bad experience.
The reception staff have always been amazing, friendly and take the time to help in anyway they can.
We've been with this surgery 3 + years and we've yet to have a negative experience.
Every time I've been the drs have been somewhat dismissive. Called 111 and they told me to get checked out by my gp under duty of care and the receptionist told me they can't get me in and to go to a and e if it's sevre enough or to ring 111 again. Which mitigates their duty of care.
Some doctors are so rude. They make you feel like your wasting their time and even go as far as belittling you for phoning there. After a month of agony in my kidney, I finally asked for help and managed to get a phone call appointment with a doctor. I DID NOT get listened to at all and “I should had phoned sooner” and “I’m too young to get those issues”. Geez, wonder why I was desperate until I called? No point of it either way, I’m not going there for any appointment now. Some doctors just really hate their job and that’s worrying for a lot of people...
Everytime I have phoned the receptionists have always ensured we got seen to in a timely manner. I phoned half an hour ago seeking a doctors appointment and I've had a telephone consultation and a prescription sorted in that time, all at the end of a Friday afternoon. I have had this experience every time I've contacted them either for myself or my children.
The receptionists are rude half the time and don’t have a clue what they’re on about, the vast majority of the doctors are also extremely ignorant. They refer you for urgent appointments and reschedule them multiple times without telling you despite your medication running out when this has been made very clear to them multiple times. If you want an increased blood pressure I’d definitely recommend signing up here.
Rude reception staff who make you feel like there’s nothing wrong with you. If there was nothing wrong then I wouldn’t be calling to book an appointment. People don’t call the doctors for the fun of it! Learn some basic customer communication skills
I called today for an appointment, they offered me one today. The receptionist was very polite, and so was I. Job done. Thank you.
My mother was suffering with sharp cognitive decline for 6 months. The doctor came to the house and decided that eardrops were the solution.
A month later she ended up critically ill in hospital with sepsis. She now can't walk or talk
You would have thought that a doctor would realise that confusion in the elderly can be exacerbated by infection but the muppet who visited my mother didn't even take her temperature to check for infection let alone take blood or urine samples.
This clown ought to be struck off
