Been this afternoon for lunch had such a nice shawarma wrap meal
I'll visit there again for try something different.
Quite a disappointing experience. Probably won't revisit. Staff and service were lovely but just didn't like the falafel or the sauces. I've had better falafels than the ones from here which are also on the slighlty more expensive side. Only 6 not-very-tasty-small-falafels for £1.75!
very little amount of shawarma received for the price paid, good service however didn't scream "wow" to me.
Excellent, not sure why others have reviewed it different. Been here twice since its open and i can’t fault it. If you like your middle-eastern street food, I recommend it. Service with a smile and they will go the extra mile to ensure you’re satisfied.
If people are complaining about price then maybe they haven't realised, prices have gone up everywhere, and if someone is cheap, you're probably not getting what you're paying for.
Good luck - Falafel Factory, Evington Road needed a good middle-eastern takeaway.
*****
The falafel and aubergine wrap is incredible! Full of flavour, lots of salads and the sauces really make it special. The hummus was also delicious and a generous portion.
Also a big fan of the branding and presentation. As a vegetarian I’m usually put off the slightly dingy kebab shop atmosphere of the usual places you can get a falafel wrap from, however this shop really has a clean welcoming appeal.
Keep up the good work!
Just bought a Mix platter but only with chicken.. cost me £7.99 and it was just exactly same as a chicken wrap which costs £4.99 in their own menu .. when I asked they said i get more chips in a platter which were only a handful a lot less than what you get in a normal meal. The salad was in a really small pot separately which was even less quantity. Food tasted good but won't be spending £7.99 for the stuff I can get it for £4.99 at the same place if I ever go back.. apart from that good customer service..
This place wasn't amazing. But if you looking to get a quick lunch (shawarma wrap etc...) then this is the place for you. We got the lamb platter which was just under £9, it wasn't much of a platter and only enough for one very hungry person. Also the chicken with rice which was £3.99 wasn't great rice was very sticky and their special sauce tasted exactly like mayonnaise. We also ordered 6 falafels for £1.75, you could actually put 2 in your mouth at the same time that's how small they were, however the sauce it came with was delicious. This place maybe be up some people's street, but I don't think it was worth the money. There are much better places where you can get a lot more food which is a lot more tastier for your money. I don't think I'll be visiting this place again anytime soon.
Great service and quick preparation. Food was also really nice and tasty. Ordered a chicken shawarma wrap meal , hummus and lamb shawarma with chips. Only issue i find with falafel factory is the portion size. Portion size is very small for the price you pay i paid 7£ for lamb shaawarma with chips and the portion was extremely small it would be better and more value for money if the portion sizes were bigger, other than that everything else was fine and food was nice
