First time visit and will definitely be back again. Literally 2 minutes from Sundown Adventureland.
Food was incredible. Service was incredibly friendly, attentive and professional.
One of the best pies I’ve ever had. Huge crust, almost like a giant dumpling.
Kids meals were brilliant too (my photo doesn’t really do it justice). Proper home made chicken nuggets, looked like beautiful chicken and breaded. I’d have happily eaten that as my main.
First ever visit. We were greeted with a lovely welcome from Claire. Also nice greeting from the locals who were sitting in the bar with their pints. So, the atmosphere was positive from the start.
But even better and warmer than the genuine welcome was the brilliant food from Matt and the caring service from Claire. The food was outstanding, hot, freshly cooked, and generous. The beer is brilliant. The value for money is outstanding. This place knocks spots off many other local hostelries for the quality of food, service, and atmosphere. Our first visit, but certainly not our last. We just wish we’d found the Eryre Arms sooner.
Wow stumbled upon this beautiful pub/restaurant!!! And we definitely was not disappointed!! Amazing, most tasteful and fresh food served to us. Beautifully presented, even the salad was made into a master piece!! Every plate of food we seen come out the kitchen looked amazing. Well worth the money, we liked it that much we have already decided what we want to eat for next time. Lovely people that run it even the chef himself said hello x all round great place to eat and have a drink x
The best pub for food in the area by far... food staff and pub exceptional... never ever had a bad meal... visit most weeks as it’s local and great value for money... even booked for Christmas Day this year with the parents...
We had a delightful experience at the Eyre Arms. We turned up early without a lunchtime booking on Valentine's Day and easily got a table in the light and spacious extension area, overlooking a pretty garden.
The lunchtime menu didn't include the evening's specials, but it was still very good.
Chef was very accommodating regarding special requests - I had gammon, fried egg, boiled potatoes and salad. The gammon was cooked fat-free as requested, with fat removed. The salad looked small, but it was very generous once I'd deconstructed it. One of the nice meals I've had whilst avoiding fats.
The steak pie was PACKED with chunks of meat, with a gorgeous pastry, viny chips and peas, but also, with a large portion of homemade gravy in a separate gravy boat. I was SO tempted to stab my fork in and steal a chunk of meat, but sadly, I resisted. It honestly looked and smelled delicious; I'm assured it tasted it too!
Drinks were pints of cold drinks, all good.
Friendly service. Delicious food. Welcoming. What's not to love?
Amazing food reasonably priced and lovely friendly staff.
Never had a bad meal here, always fantastic and the staff are great. Absolutely lovely classic British food and some with a modern twist. Wonderful. Pictured is a starter of salmon and cream cheese parcels, and a main of chicken in mushroom and stilton sauce.
Superb meal as always when we visit here. Matt is so accommodating in the kitchen, he spoils the kids with their crazy ‘off piste’ requests and always has Gluten Free options in stock for people like myself. It’s a lovely village pub, a family favourite that I’m so glad to see going from strength to strength every time we visit.
Great work all of you, it’s the staff and the quality of food that really make the difference ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
