Several jobs in the vicinity required an overnight stay. I found this place online amongst others and it looked like a nice area so I opted for it. Glad I did, warm friendly and welcoming on a cold night. i was told there was no evening meal that night but there was a pub across the road that also has a fish and chip shop attached. the bedroom was clean comfortable had 2 very comforting beds along with a sofa. I settled in for an hour before heading out for a pint and something to eat. Shower the next morning was warm and there was good capacity to turn it up (always a good sign). Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs of my choice arriving promptly with plenty of it on the plate. Would highly recommend this place if your in the area and want somewhere warm comfortable and welcoming.
Stayed here for one night as part of a charity round wales challenge for tenovus cancer.||Arrived 7.30pm shown room which was adequate apart from large amount of mould in shower. Reported to reception and asked for duty manager...no show. Recetionist was professional and friendly.||Had food in restaurant ordered mussels which were being advertised as a speciality of the area. I can only describe them as unedible. Complained to chef who couldn't care less and just shrugged his shoulders. Obviously bad management.
Outstanding service. Quite the best meals I've had from similar hotels. Asked where I could get batteries from. Provided them for me. Wonderful outlook across Menai Straits. Highly recommended. Lovely friendly helpful staff/owners.
Went to surprise our daughter who's at Bangor Uni, stayed in this ultra friendly, helpful hotel. They went above an beyond for my husband request. Cooked breakfasts amazing, plenty of food even do dinner which was so plentiful, tasty and good value. Room was clean tidy and big. Restuarant over looks pier & can see Menai Bridge. Beauitful rugged Wales at its best. Def be going back.
Horrendous from arrival and limited parking. Rooms are dirty such as mould in the shower. Two single beds in room with soft, lumpy mattresses.
The room was OK, nothing special. TV didn’t work but we didn’t report it because weren’t too bothered so can’t comment on what the reaction would have been. However, the absolute star of our two night stay was the food. It really was fantastic and incredible value for the quality. There were a dozen of us and so we tried most things in the menu. Almost every dish was outstanding. If you stay here, do not miss dinner in the hotel. Staff were efficient and friendly.
Eryl Mor is in a stunning location, the staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The food is really nice, free parking is available and the Wi Fi is very good. The rooms are clean. If I had to make a criticism I would say Eryl Mor decor is tired, and in need of an update. But would definitely stay there again.
For the price this is an excellent little hotel with great views over the estuary. Our room was of a good size and we slept well.
Breakfast was simple but absolutely fine as it came with a fresh cooked Full English plus all of the trimmings.
As long as you book with the right expectations you won't be disappointed. We certainly weren't.
