Called in by chance as was hungry. The couple who run the place are really nice and friendly and made me feel really welcome, the cafe is very clean and comfortable. I had a cooked breakfast with pot of tea. The cooked breakfast was excellent, well cooked and tasty. Had good conversation with owners and regulars and a great visit over all. Will definitely be back. Prices of food were very reasonable indeed. Many thanks.
A lovely little cafe Full english homecooked and hot every thing cooked well just the way i like staff very friendly and help full lovly to have tea in a china cup and saucer and a big pot of tea
Nice atmosphere. Staff OK. Prices are really good. But the food is terrible. We ordered the large breakfast . The toast came out early which some like but I don't. The breakfast was swimming in oil and really cheap sausages. The horrible taste it left because it was drowning in oil lasted in my mouth for hours. Had to buy a pack of peppermints to take away the taste. Won't be rushing back anytime in the future. Very disappointed
Visited for the first time yesterday and was greeted by a jovial old gentlemen. He asked what we would like to drink and then took our orders with minimum fuss. I think given it's close proximity to Blundell Park I imagine it's a popular place for both sets of fans as yesterday showed with some from Wrexham in the next table. Toast arrived and was told by the young woman to put the butter in between the slices to help it melt and become spreadable. That's certainly a first for me to hear but it worked. The food came and served in a polite fashion. Given how hungry I was I didn't need a second invitation to tuck in. Don't know if you have to ask for it or it was oversight but wasn't offered black pudding or tea or coffee which might be nice. Food I did opt for was good but I think the sausages let it down as they tasted like they were cheap. After finishing the meal swapped pleasantries before going on our way. If I visit again which is a strong possibility I will order a different meal.
Found this place on a Sunday brunch time. Open! No cafe in gy is open at this time . The service was great the food was delicious it was fresh cooked to order we had a fry up the older couple was fantastic told us to take a seat. The young waitress topped our coffee up as she knew we didn't want milk. The table design is lovely. Old school. Lots of tea pots and service cups. The food cost £6.50 per meal that is including lamb dinner. We was very happy here . A Cleethorpes little gem . I would highly recommend this place so cute
Excellent little cafe, eat here very often… clean and friendly with delicious homely meals ..
Stopped here for a bite to eat before heading to Blundell Park. Good food for a great price and very welcoming service.
We had the best breakfast here. Great value for money brilliant service family run and friendly can't recommend it enough we will be back for the beef Wellington
