Great local tearoom serving all day breakfast, brunch and lunch items. I believe they do an amazing Sunday lunch also, but I'm yet to try that. Lots of fresh sweet and savoury bakes to enjoy while seated or to take away. Always good quality and great value for money from this friendly family bakehouse and tearoom.
A welcome addition to the Seabank Road neighbourhood. This is a lovely family owned business, staff are mega helpful, polite, courteous and having been to eat in on several occasions as well as grabbing fresh baked goods to go, its always been a welcoming service with a smile.
They have a range of fresh baked goods, cakes, great coffee, and a range of meals available, all well priced. There is a lovely atmosphere and Elsie's even has a lovely little sun trap under the canopy outside. I have to say as a non-smoker it's such a relief to note that you don't have to walk through a waft of smoke to enter inside or to eat outside. A smoke free zone out front is perfect for everyone in such a cosy alfresco space. Enjoyed a fab visit today and lovely to see the Easter Bunny had visited too. Great place for everyone.
Lovely place to eat... Staff great Food great.. Exceptional place.. Sunday roast spot on like my mums.. Debbie host great personality.. Her daughter made me what can only be described as best apple crumble homemade ive personally tasted.. Been breakfast too excellent.. Hope it does not get so busy...i cant get in.
My husband and I came here for an early lunch on my birthday. The service was really good and friendly, it had a warm and cosy atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious! We shall definitely be coming back!
Found this by chance! Delighted we did ! Food was delicious and the staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. We both had Welsh Rarebit and my sister ordered chips too. Coffee was very good, we always know wherever we go if the coffee is good the rest will be. We were not disappointed and will definitely be going back there! Prices are very reasonable, wanted to have one of their delicious looking cakes but was full to the brim with my Welsh Rarebit. Looking forward to going back to try other foods from the menu. We wish we had found you sooner !!
Elsie opened last December. And it was a lovely place, friendly staffs and tasty foods. My favourite is avo smash poached eggs. I think will try their vegetarian breakfast next.
Really busy for a reason, food was amazing . We all loved it. Will be back again????
Cosy gorgeous place with the BEST Sunday dinner, amazing pastries and delicious pies & super friendly service! I would be there every week if I lived nearer!
