Depending on what you are expecting this could be a bit of a let down...
The village is quant with a nice pub in it, the picnic area is basically a car park that holds 4 cars and has one picnic table with a children's play area over the road next to the cricket club. So don't expect an amenity rich location.
However if you are just after somewhere to stop for a bit and a little stroll around you could certainly do worse.
There was a map showing walking routes around the area.
Just a small car park - the only "picnic area" to speak of was a few benches next to the cricket pavilion across the road. Adjacent field had livestock in and no footpaths to Elmley Castle.
For somewhere to start your walk around Bredon Hill it's spot on bit the car park is not the biggest. It's worth visiting the tea room in the Queen Elizabeth pub whilst your there.
Opposite a playground and views of the hill, but right by a road and only one table and benches.
Great place to park if you want to go up Bredon Hill & find the ruins of Elmley Castle.
Small parking area, so may be full. Free and near to the village/footpaths in the area
Gorgeous place to visit and take time out from the world.
Great location for starting a walk of Bredon Hill. Free parking a bonus.
