I went to this cafe by accident as we were looking for a restaurant or cafe for lunch, which looks outstanding in this area.
The atmosphere was nice and warm. The servers were friendly and helpful. The food was good, but it would be better to have some salad cream on the salad garnish. Some portion of the food was OK, but for £9.95 for southern chicken goujon, which has three pieces of chicken, chips and vegetables, it looks pricey to me ????
Found this in passing yesterday. What a lovely place! Very clean, made to feel so welcome. Lovely lady came to our table to take order. No queuing. We had two big mugs of tea....only £2 for BOTH. Don't often get to Withernsea, but when we do, we'll be visit you! Recommended.
Popped in while passing. Busy, well staffed cafe. Coffee & cake. Coffee was a smooth latte. Chocolate, cherry & ombre. Coffee & Walnut cakes. Nice, moist & full of flavour. Light & fluffy.

Absolutely cracking little eaterie , we've been twice now after swimming at the leisure centre and the service and food are absolutely spot on. 4 lovely meals with drinks for around £36 is excellent value . Will definitely be back
Best breakfast in Withernsea, I was a chef for 45 years so I’m a bit fussy, took me right back to my Army days , beautiful breakfast, well done chef

A brilliant modern and well kept cafe staff helpful and friendly menu to suit everyone's tastes thanks to the Ellis cafe staff will certainly be going back there THE Ellis Cafe is in Withernsea on the east coast of Yorkshire
