Great staff so friendly and nice.
Great selection of sandwiches and baked goods, including pastries and deserts.
The coffee is nice and has some authentic greek coffee. All at reasonable prices.
I will definitely come back here again.
Elena's patisserie is a good place for a classic cup of real coffee that is of a different roast to most other cafés here in the city of Nottingham . The coffee served here is of a medium bodied blend , but of a very high flavour content and is very reminiscent of a roast that is popular in the middle East e.g the Lebanon and Cyprus and would suit the more adventurous coffee drinkers as it has been sourced with with care to compliment the range of pastries and desserts here on offer . The baklava here is of a very good standard and has a lighter texture than most I have tried upon my travels elsewhere , it has a good pastry to pistachio ratio and a nice light syrup and not to cloying on the palate !! , Please may I add that the portion sizes of baklava here are large and may be enough for two to share if you are watching your waistline . Elana's also does a very good Greek coffee which I have tried and it does deliver the ultimate coffee hit !! But do remember that you will for sure have some residual coffee grounds in your cup as it has been prepared as natural as possible and to a traditional method , may I suggest for the novice to take the water served with it to swill it down , and then enjoy the buzz . The café also has a very good range of traditional Greek & Cypriot & middle Eastern inspired light meals and snacks at sensible cost for the city and are freshly prepared to a very high standard . The staff/owners upon my visit were most polite and welcoming and I felt like an old friend , I'm sure that most who visit feel the same and like myself return time and time again . The café also has a very good selection of Greek & Cypriot & middle Eastern delicatessen items to buy and would make an ideal gift that is a little bit different from the mainstream . A serious coffee drinkers must place visit whilst here in Nottingham . RECOMMEND DRINK AND PASTRY café americano no milk and baklava , a great start to the day whilst here in the city !! .
The best breakfast. Everything is neat and the taste has the best balance???? I am very happy that my day started with this excellent breakfast.Thank you Elena’s patisserie ????
Great cafe! The nutty açai bowl was one of the best I’ve had. Lovely homely atmosphere, with good coffee
Took a spinach feta pastry to go as it looked amazing!
A late Monday morning and I missed the breakfast at my hotel. Just my luck this was literally across the way. I had a perfect slice of the Spinach and Feta pie with an exceptional Flat White. Reminds me of my trips around Greece and it's Islands. I might have to come back for some Gyros later!
Its more like visiting a dear friend at their home than being at a cafe. A piece of Greece in the heart of Nottingham. This iced Freddo is my new favorite drink now. So good that I had one in the afternoon and I came back few hours later to get a second one.
Loved the vibe. Seems like a family business. Dad, mum and daughter, all hands on, good sense of humour. Missed our way and gave them a call, the picked and directed us (for Google map, the shop is at the other side of the block). Good food. Enjoyed my Village breakfast
Wonderful place run be Greek family: lovely, approachable and gregarious people. Very friendly and nice. They have indoor and outdoor settings and cosy atmosphere. You can not only buy a good food here but also some Greek products such as olive oils, sweets or balsamic vinegar. The family support local students therefore you also can buy their art, for example picture of orange branch. Tea, coffee, cold drinks as well as warm or cold food will satisfy your appetite but live some space in your belly for a desert. The patisserie is definitely worth a visit. I promised them that I'll come back and I'm going to keep my promise.
