Loved the decor and ambiance and the staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and perfectly cooked. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a special night out. It was my Birthday and we really enjoyed it. A great place to have in Dursley.
What a fantastic place - great food and very friendly & helpful staff
We've been here twice now, once on a very busy evening in the run up to Christmas, and yesterday for a relaxed lunch after the New Year festivities.
On both occasions, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful no matter how busy is a place got. I can see why it is extremely popular!!
It seemed for years Dursley had no restaurants, but now with the Italian Della casa, The Indian Bengal Lounge and now El Dorado the perfect Mexican restaurant, we have got (with the perfect English pub of the Old Spot) most cuisines covered. All we really need down there is a sit-down Chinese and you wouldn't need to go anywhere else :)
Turning specifically to El Dorado, the food on both occasions has been extremely good, the wines excellent value and despite 1 review to the contrary, we have found the staff have been extremely helpful in identifying which foods are suitable for my coeliac wife and making adjustments as necessary to fulfil her needs.
We spent several hours in a very relaxed state and attach a couple of photos of the meals we had. We intend to go back several times to work out way through the rest of the menu and this time we also partook of some pre-meal cocktails in the Cocktail Lounge which were also extremely good. I would thoroughly recommend the El Dorado and it's staff.
Lunch for 9 celebrating the 40th birthday of a friend. Food was great, service friendly and quick and prices very reasonable. Would definitely go back if in Dursley again.
Visited for our anniversary on a Monday night. Good service and lovely food. We would recommend for a midweek meal definitely.

Popped in for cocktails and nachos on New Years Eve during our Cotswolds Way walk. All the cocktails were excellent and the nachos were great. Highly recommended.
Good food, friendly staff, only problem food is priced slightly too high for what you get.
Absolutely yummy food as always! Nachos, fajitas and taco pizza all washed down with house red. Thank you El dorado xx
