My first visit and very impressed. Good food and great location. I can imagine what it would be like in the summer. Must try the squid, for me its their signature dish. The staff are very attentive and the chief very accommodating. All round good evening with good food and wine. Highly recommended as a cool place to hang out.

Everything else is shocking: Terribly slow service. Poorly made coffee. No fresh juice at breakfast. Horrific lighting at night.
It could be so good as the location is brilliant and the chef is clearly very able. This place has the potential to be insane but they get a few very basic things wrong.
Whoa!!! Amazing food. Very fresh and simple, but good sized potions. Had the pleasure of meeting the chef who is very friendly and sincere in his profession. I had the lamb with spinach, and it was phenomenal. Highly recommend the new chef, Ricardo.
Wow, had the pea risotto and the garlic broccoli. The new chef, Ricardo knew how to expertly blend seasonal veggies and spices to create a meal that was extremely flavorful, filling yet did not leave me tired and heavy. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to experience the wonderful flavors of London.
The slowest service of any restaurant, ever. We sat down and after a long wait were eventually offered a menu... then another very long wait, trying to unsuccessfully catch the waiter's eye. During this time no offer of a drink either! As the restaurant was under half full it was ridiculous. Perhaps employ a speedier waiter? As it was, we bought a sandwich from the deli and ate it in the park.
*update* I am still waiting to be served...
The cafe is in a beautiful setting right next to the park so great for toddlers that can't sit for long periods of time. However when we went there was a party there and our order took forever to arrive.
Chef is incredibly lovely but engagement of events team and management was abysmal. I have never encountered such a poor, substandard service from any establishment. Hosted an event there and never received what I over paid for, nor any form of recognition that key items listed were absent. Shockingly amateurish experience and will sadly never go back nor recommend.
This independent coffee shop has friendly staff and nicely made and presented foods and beveridges. There is lots of seating and being next to the common it would be ideal for people with children.
