I am dealing with Iain Prideaux from Edward Mellor estate agents, with regard to selling my property.
I just want to say I am very happy with the service I have received so far. I find Iain to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable in his role. I feel like he goes that extra mile to oversee the sales progression and provides excellent communication between myself and potential buyers.

Would like to say Edward Mellor was excellent during the sale and buying of our properties. Special Thanks to Ian Prideaux for all his effort . Help and advice without his advice and guidance during this long process we would have reconsidered moving.
I previously posted 5* review for this agency as felt they were friendly and professional only to find out few weeks later that they tried to sell me property that risks collapsing, has leaking roof, and loads of issues with lease which prohibits from renting in the future. I wasted hours of my precious time and £300 on survey fees. They knew about the state of property and lied to me that someone pulled out because they failed to provide proof of funding when in reality their solicitor advised them not to buy it as its a disaster! I understand that there are estate agents tactics to sell and there is a big competition on a market but this is ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING...
An appalling experience trying to let my flat with this shoddy unprofessional company.
I was happily using a different agent but Edward Mellor promised lower fees and a better service. Their office look good so when my flat became vacant I decided to take their offer. A fee structure was negotiated and confirmed in writing. Photos were done and the flat was soon listed. They then told me I would have to pay double the fees I had agreed despite having signed all the forms, given them the keys and had it listed for 2 weeks without any viewings.
I estimate I will have lost about 1 months rent as well as hours of my valuable time. I refuse to be lied to and cheated.
I would reccomend to avoid entering into any agreements with this shoddy deceiving company.
Had a property search with a guy called Conor, he was great professional and helpful. 10/10 would recommend this company.
Love the team at Edward Mellor, let and managed property for me and then managed to sell it . Very professional and the staff really care. Nothing is too much trouble and the customer is always right. Used other local agents for letting and even though they were a large player the service was was off mark P****P
