Staff were very friendly and informative. Did not have to wait to long after my scheduled appointment time to be seen.
It must have been an exceptionally rare day, I was seen immediately by Michelle at the walk in centre reception. Michelle was very courteous, friendly and took my details with patience. I was aksed to wait and within 5 minutes I was seen by one if the nurses Julie who was equally amazing; she assessed my issue and dealt with it promptly. Within a minute my consultantation was over. So I took the opportunity and asked an advise on a long pending pain issue in my foot which after an examination I received guidance too. My total time at the centre was less than 10 minutes. I can’t believe this is the shortest hospital visit I have had till date and all the credit goes to the amazing team at the Edgware Community Centre!!
I came for a kidney infection prior to 111 call saying I needed to be seen to immediately and I was just given antibiotics. The doctor was so condescending I honestly don’t know how she got her job. I cannot swallow pills and majority of the healthcare community know this and understand my situation then give alternatives. E.g I suffer with mental health issues and they give me orodispersible pills for my ease to take the medication. The previous doctor gave me amoxicillin liquid solution as an antibiotic with no problems
Went for a blood test told the bloke I am not a fan of needles and he handled the situation well. Didn't even realise it had gone in and kept checking on me if I was ok.
The queue system is fantastic, I went in there and probably waited max 10 minutes so overall very happy with the service.
The only real negative, there is no staff presence especially reception which I find most bizarre. I have to go around in circles and follow signs unless you're lucky enough to bump into a member of staff.
In all my experiences to date (emergency, blood tests & xray) this hospital and its staff have been fantastic!
Vivian is an uneducated nurse. She asked a really psychotic patient to back her up in a denial she refused to answer.. They just sit on their back sides.
So I’m putting 1 star since I can’t put 0 stars.
I went to have a blood test done and they do the blood test but emotionally I was affected so if you go there for a blood test prepare for this, as nurses don’t know how to treat and care for patients.
NHS needs to provide training to nurses coming from abroad.
I have a fear of needles and when I exhaled to prepare for the needle to be injected the nurse asked ‘Why am I breathing like that?’.
No care or professionalism whatsoever!
Really nice community hospital. Lovely people work here
