We visited the Edelweiss cafe for a quick cream tea and a scone. And there were both perfect. The scone was all buttery and served with a cream and a delicious strawberry jam. The prices were more than reasonable, the place was very clean and the lady that served us was very polite. We totally recommend it if you visit Cheddar.

Lovely find just around the corner from the caves and the car park. Delicious bacon sandwich!
Absolutely 100% the best bacon sandwiches we have ever had. Bread was light and fluffy and they didn't hold back on the bacon.
Staff were friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere relaxed.

Lovely little cafe, it's been here for years without much changing. Proper pot of tea with a China cup and saucer. Lovely full English breakfast and no cheating on the tuna sandwich and chips either. Prompt and friendly staff, well worth a visit.
Lovely little cafe in Cheddar Gorge. Good food, well cooked and friendly staff, it is dog friendly as well allowing pups inside as well as outside.
Lovely and cozy small place in a very convenient location. Few steps away from car parks. Roast beef was amazingly good. The gravy was extra delicious and vege were cooked just right. Cravings satisfied! Food price is very much pocket-friendly. Staff members were nice and polite, too.
Frozen (partly defrosted) scones, supermarket bread and weak tea - a real tourist trap. Order was sent out wrong to us initially. Would have been nice to have some fresh local produce instead.
