Have been going to this chip shop for years and the food has always been nice. Got crispy duck with pancakes tonight and the portion was tiny, no chance that was a quarter of duck, and it was not crispy at all. Ordered chips and gravy, both cold, and crispy chilli beef which was undercooked. Complained and was told they had been busy which was the reason for the poor food but they would replace. There were 3 customers in the shop when I was there. The food was so bad that I did not accept the replacement. Being busy is not an excuse to serve poor food. I have never complained to a chip shop before let alone written a review but £25.80 went straight in the bin tonight because this chip shop was apparently too busy to serve edible food!

Found this place by chance and we were not disappointed! The Fish and Chips was delicious and they gave a very generous serving! One the locals said they’ve been open for close to 50 years. Simply amazing!
One of the best Chinese chippy I have experienced. Always a cheerful place always a smile when entering , I go here almost every week and never had a complaint about the food , the food here is very good with a huge menu to choose from, can get very busy at times so a wait can be expected. Pay it a visit , you won't be disappointed.

A bit of a creature of habit, mostly ordering Singapore Vermicelli, BBQ ribs and chips - always excellent quality!! Fish 'n' chips also excellent, as is the curry sauce. My 'go-to' take away in the area. I always find the staff to be very polite and friendly.
Fantastic Chinese takeaway, very clean and staff are great and very helpful, food cooked with fresh ingredients. They do a small fresh fish cooked to order this is great for smaller appetites. 2 experienced chefs to cook your favourite dishes. Fast, friendly service.
