Very tucked away with very narrow lanes. Car park expects you to pay using an app, but there is no signal down there. Did a circular walk with lunch on the beach, but you have to catch the tide before it's high. Car park quite small. No facilities.
Super hiking area and super views. Well worth the trip down the hill. Parking is National Trust. £3 for the day or free if you have membership.
Good car park although a pain to get to with very narrow and quite steep roads. Keep an eye out for cirl buntings in the area and especially around the car park - one of the few places you can see them in England.
Nice walk heading west from car park, took about 1.5 hours with beautiful scenery.
Its a lovely 15 minute walk to East Prawle beach to see this stunning landmark of the horses head.
Quite remote carpark to drive to though,be prepared
The National Trust car park is an excellent area to park to allow you to walk the coast path towards Salcombe, there are some beautiful beaches on the way and the views are outstanding. The paths are not steep and it’s a good circular walk that you can do.
Park your car... which is nice:)
just remember it's further down the lane than you'll think !
This is a small National Trust car park, suitable for an estimated 20 cars and suggested donation is 3 GBP. The road leading to it and car park itself is not great and therefore, not suitable for low sitting cars (which I don't mind!). No special facilities around, just stunning views and easy access to the sea. I would highly recommend!
Car park is down quite a narrow lane - might be difficult in the summer with more people around. Car park is not that big either! Lovely walks along the coast path either way. We'll worth a visit.
